… is a trailer for an imaginary tower defense game. Starting with an introduction to the story of the king through a storybook, the viewers are being sent on an immersive journey. As the pages are turned, they are seamlessly transported into the vibrant and sugary world of the game, populated by gummy bears. The trailer shows the defense towers, highlighting their mechanics and emphasizing their crucial role in protecting the kingdom. The motivated creators of this bubbly yet brutal game world are Markus Achrainer, Michael Jungmeier and Julia Langegger. The adventurous Soundtrack is produced by Kilian Konz.
My part in this project was the Sound Design. In order to fit the colourful image, the Sounds should be very exaggerated and “cartoon-like”. They should emphasize the inventive weaponry that are actually built from rather harmless objects.
